Joseph Camilleri

Joe Camilleri is the founder and CEO of Ethos Sustainability Solutions. With both a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Sustainable Engineering from Villanova University, Joe spent his early career consulting for a large industrial gas company. With extensive experience in whole impact assessment, Joe quickly became a go-to source for calculating the environmental and human impacts of industrial production. Soon after, Joe pivoted to enterprise sustainability planning with a keen interest in systems thinking, viewing complicated environmental, social, and economic issues as interconnected rather than separate. With his background in engineering and a passion for holistic sustainability, Joe combined the quantitative and qualitative into a novel sustainability tool utilizing cutting-edge metrics and stakeholder engagement to measure and manage the issues that are important not only to a company but to its people. Having used these tools to craft several comprehensive decade-long sustainability plans, Joe founded Ethos Sustainability Solutions to spread this state-of-the-art management tool to other enterprises. With collaborators, Joe helped to create the three-tiered Enterprise, Community, Family methodology Ethos uses as the basis for all its work.
